On the Federal Agency for Civic Education’s Conference on Digitalization I will participate on a panel and the presentation of a workshop.
The panel “Surveillance and Security vs. Freedom and Data Protection” with Rebekka Weiß, from bitkom, the sinologist Maximilian Mayer, German Studies Center Tongji University Shanghai and Adrienne Fichter from REPUBLIK.ch an independent news webside will discuss net policy and participation. The panel will be hosted by Tobi Müller.
The workshop will be on digital self-defense. We will show you what kind of data traces (or motorways) you are leaving behind using the net and ways to protect yourself. And we will dip in the Dark Web. In 90 minutes – no prior knowledge needed!
